A woman with a tongue piercing was recently hit by lightning and her body jewelry evidentally conducted the electricity as it surged through her body.

Although most news reports are trying to blame the tongue stud for her being struck in the first place, there is very little chance that the tongue jewelry had anything to do with her attracting the bolt.
