I was just looking at some things online today and noticed that there were people inquiring about Dustin’s tattoo that states that he’s diabetic. If you want to contact me feel free. I am his wife and can give you whatever information you may be looking for.
I would like to know what type of diabetic he is. If he is a type 1, is he on a pump or shots?
Dustin is a type 1 diabetic. He has been since he was 16. Until just this spring he has done shots. He recently received more information on the pump and has been doing somewhat of a “trial run” with that for the past couple of months. It has it’s ups and downs. But as his wife I can tell you that his consistancy in his moods has greatly improved without the ups and downs. =)

My family was just involved in a terrible car accident which left my husband w/ a couple broken ribs and a lacerated spleen which needed to be removed. When told he needed to wear a medical ID bracelet I joked “why don’t you have one tattooed.” I just saw your husband’s story and was curious if there is a photo of his tattoo, you would be willing to share. hi Janell, I’m going to attempt to contact you about your husbands tattoo… I am curious to where he has it located & what it looks like? I have to replace my alert jewelry every 3 – 6 mos & it’s becoming quite expensive… I will check the blog more often for your reply
