Forum Discussion - Using a Tongue Piercing to Your Partner's Advantage

Sunday July 18, 2004
turtle2953 writes: "Ok, here is my question: My tongue piercing is now fully healed and I am ready to give it a whirl with my boyfriend. As far as techniques for kissing and well, you know, its use, I could use some advice. Right now it still feels new and kinda weird. Instead of using it for the first time and being lousy, anyone got any tips or tricks? I know this is a weird question, but hey! Someone's gotta ask."

I’m a straight guy so we’ll be using our piercing slightly differently, but I think I can help. First you’ve got to get the right sized bar. I’ve got an eight gage cuz the thickness gives me more control. Also once there is no swelling get yourself a shorter bar, like a 1/2 inch. A shorter bar is better on your teeth and won’t get in the way as much. Now this is what you do: set up your tongue ring so that you have a plastic ball on the bottom ( for the sake of your teeth) and place a metal ball on the top. Now, bring a cup of hot tea into the bedroom. Everynow and then take a sip. The top ball needs to be metal though to conduct the heat better.

oh and the thicker your bar, the more heat it will hold. Oh and there are also all sorts of different “ticklers” you can put on ring. They even have tr’s that vibrate! In terms of how to work your tr- well that takes practice. Just be creative and switch up the motion a lot. Well, I hope i was helpful. Have fun!
