In the News: Appearances Can Deceive

At least four Maryland teens are currently being treated for an antibiotic-resistant strain of Staph infection as a direct result of getting tattoos from some guy working out of his basement. One of the teens said that the artist wore gloves and "appeared to be operating in a clean manner and that each of the needles he used to do the tattoos were individually wrapped and taken out of the wrapper and discarded after each use". Obviously, that was not enough.
