The reason the bar is so long is because of the initial swelling of your tongue. Your peircing must really be new because when i first got mine, although it’s been a long time ago, I don’t remember having the speach problem for more than a week or two. You can get a shorter bar if the swelling has gone down, the longer one isn’t necessary anymore. Good luck!
I just got mine done today and I was wondering what all would be good to eat while its healing. Because I’m starving. Haha.
its because of the swelling. i have my tongue pierced and you can get it changed after 2 weeks. dont worry.
