Forum Discussion: Piercing Childrens' Ears Safely

Sunday May 28, 2006
piercedhottie writes: "[I] wanted to get some input on ear piercings for children. I have a 5 year old daughter who wants nothing more than to have her ears pierced. I WILL NOT take her to the mall and let some ditz use the gun on her ears like my mother did me...It really pisses me off that professional piercers will not (or cannot by the law) pierce most minors (even with parental consent) BUT a parent can take her child to the mall and have some teenager, with minimal training and little to no understanding on proper sanitation, shoot studs through her ears."
