News: Kidnapped Toddler Found Safe; Teenager Arrested

3 year-old Brandon Aponte was inside a Bronx, NY tattoo studio (Zeus Tattoo) which is co-owned by his father, when he was taken from the shop by a 13 year-old girl. Police were looking for the teen girl, Tatiana Morales, as well as the toddler, and found them both safe on Monday. The teen girl was arrested on charges of kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Upon reading about this story in both the NY Post & Daily News, I was shocked to find that there is another Zeus Tattoo! Zeus Tattoo & Body Piercing, Inc. located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn owned and operated by Carmen Franco has NO RELATION whatsoever to the Bronx shop. Her shop is clean & upholds the professional standards set by the City of New York. Ms. Franco will be following the appropriate legal measures to uphold her good reputation, as well as, ownership rights for that name, however since this story appeared it has undoubtedly affected her in a negative way. I am a loyal customer and friend of Ms. Franco’s. Thank you.
