Tat of the Week: American Pride

Sunday July 1, 2007
I know all of my readers aren't from the USA, but this week (on Wednesday) we will be celebrating our Independence Day anniversary, so I chose a tattoo that represented American pride. This tattoo of an American Bald Eagle - our country's symbol of freedom - and the flag, is a great representation. It doesn't get much more American than that unless you throw in a Ballpark hot dog, and I think that just might be a little weird. (grin)

This tattoo was inked by John Bergin III of (formerly) Shotsie's Tattoo West - now called Monarch Tattoo - in Newfoundland, New Jersey. You can learn about John and see more of his artwork at Expressive Images Ltd.
