QOW: Can a Permanent Tattoo Be Made from a Temporary Tattoo Design?
A: You certainly can have a temporary tattoo design made into a regular tattoo design, but there is just one caveat to keep in mind. Those temporary designs are mass produced and a lot of the time are similar or even the same as a lot of flash art (the stuff in the books and on sheets in the tattoo shop) which are also mass produced, and a LOT of people just pick those designs and have them tattooed. The problem is that 100 other people out there may have the same design. If you're ok with that, then no problem, but I would recommend asking the artist to use your temporary design as a template, but change a few things around to make it more unique. A few alterations in the design may make it even better and more suited to you personally.

never never copy identical.. tattoos are personal and should never be identitcal to another persons… Always talk to your artist and put something in yours that will give that artwork the spice…Make it close, but unique.. Show it proud and tell them all who your artist is….Good Karma to you….Swanky
Size is important. Watch out! You may have to go larger on a real tattoo. Many temp. tats are too small and too detailed for a real tat. A pro. artist should tell you if it needs to be a little larger because of line thickness and detail. You have to look at how it will look in 10 yrs, you don’t want it to be a blob.
