Discussion: Responses to Rude Comments, Part 2

Sunday November 18, 2007
Last week, the questions was posed: How do you respond to rude comments people make about your tattoos? There have been some great replies in that topic thread, so I just thought I'd share some of them here:
  • "What are you going to do when you are 50? Have a big party and probably celebrate with a new tattoo. There are so many other things that I can be and am concerned about rather than having wrinkly colorful ink." - quinnnchick
  • "A cold hard stare works best....why bother responding to stupid?" - ladytattoo
  • "I tell them that I'll give the old folks at the nursing home something to look at when I'm living there." - Kerrie
  • "The whole 'your body is a temple' thing...I think it's your temple, you should be able to do [with it] as you wish." - EvinNRobsMom
  • "I think my tattoo guy has the best answer....he has a poster in his shop that says MY BODY IS NOT A TEMPLE - ITS A F***ING PLAYGROUND......hahaha." - Raven Darkmoon
