Deciding Between Two Great Artists?

Sunday September 14, 2008
thatstgerdi writes: "I plan on getting a tattoo with in the next week I have the basic design already planned out. But I was recommended 2 different places by people who I really trust. These people also went to them and got great work done. How do I decide between the 2? I have also checked out both places artwork online and both are amazing."

Flip a coin. If they’re equal in all accounts (talent, price, shop cleanliness, etc.), you’re in a win-win situation. Then go to the other artist for your next tattoo!

you should introduce yourself to both artists and see which you get along with better…
that’s what i did. now i go to the same artist every time and he’s kind of like a good friend, we talk the whole time. it’s always a good experience getting some work from him.
good luck

I agree with Laura. Make sure you feel comfortable working with that artist and you’re both on the same page when it comes to the design you want.

Easy.
Go meet both artists and show them your piece. See what they say. Some artists will want to change the piece entirely. See if they share your vision.
