i have a rook each ear up up until recently I thought they where very rare i didn’t even know there was a name for it. i knew i did not think of it first but i never met anyone with it i still don’t know anyone personally but I see it all the time on line now I love my rooks and i get lots of compliments on them all the time.
I actually got my first rook today. I didn’t realize the piercing had a name (although it makes sense now that each area should have a specific name). It seemed to me a logical place to have pierced with a ring, and until I looked it up here, I’d never seen one. It was just always the place I pointed to when I said I wanted a piercing.
This will always be a special piercing for me; my 16 y/o son got his eyebrow pierced today too, as a birthday present from me. He called it our “family bonding” experience.
