Forum Discussion: Removing Excess Ink From Skin

Sunday March 4, 2007
wallflower1687 writes: "I just got my tattoo [and] there is a lot of ink still on my skin; my entire foot is gray. The artist tried to get most of it off - he really did, it almost hurt - but it just left my foot gray, my entire foot. I have used alcohol wipes, soap, water - nothing works. I'm sure it will wear off in a few days, but I would like to not look dirty - go show it off tomorrow. Anyone have any quick methods to get this off of me?"

The extra ink will be stained for a while because of the skin texture. It will wear off in time. What ever you do, do not try soaking it, especially your tattoo, it WILL ruin it!
