"I had always wanted a tattoo as a teenager. I knew that I wanted it to be something would mean something to me for my whole life. My first tattoo I chose was a Christian fish (ICHTHUS), which I got on my shoulder blade. I chose it because no matter how far I stray from God, or whatever I do in life, He is always there. I just decided to go one night. I knew I had to go by myself or else someone would talk me out of it and my husband thought I would chicken out!
My second tattoo is a butterfly on my backbone. I plan on eventually getting vines and Morning Glories on the sides of it (even though hubbie thinks that would be too much!). I have to say though, even he got talked into getting a very personal tattoo (a fireman's maltese cross on his calf). I couldn't imagine now not being tattooed!"
