Definition: An oxidizing antiseptic liquid, once thought to be the best aftercare choice for new piercings. This has since been proven to be an unwise choice in aftercare, and usually causes more problems than it solves.
Oddly enough, hydrogen peroxide is strong enough that it even kills healthy white blood cells trying to heal your wound. When used on a regular basis, there is no allowance for healing and can lead to redness, soreness and even infection.
