13 Year Old Gets Belly Ring

For starters I guess that I should say that I was in 7th grade and I had been thinking about getting one for a long time. I had been on the Internet trying to find all the info that I could.

When it came for the day to get it done I was so nervous, but I wanted to get it done over Spring Break so that when I came back from it I could show it off to all my friends. Now I was only 13 so my mom would have to sign the papers so that I could get it done. (My mom is the coolest!) When I was all signed up I was taken to the backroom and told to lie down on the table. At this time I was so nervous, but I was not going to back out. First the guy rubbed some antibacterial stuff on it. Then he clapped up the skin and POP, the needle was in and it was over! I was embarrassed - it hardly even hurt. If you want to know how it felt, it felt like my ears had just been pierced but just in my bellybutton!

Let me just say, if you want it done, DON'T WAIT A SECOND LONGER, GO NOW!
