As
for inspirations, God, I have so many. I love all forms of art, its all good,
so I try not to limit my self to any one style. I prefer to be well-rounded;
hate the thought of being stereotyped for one particular style. Still every
day is a learning experience, that's how my job has remained fun...and
because of that I'm a pretty grateful guy."

Alfred "Bo" Mencarelli
Date of Birth: I'm 45 Years Old
"Believe it or not, I gave my first tattoo
at the age of 14. The old thread and needle work. I grew up in the Boston
area, was awarded 2 scholarships for my art coming out of high school, but
chose to go in the military, where I remained for 10 years. I got out in 1983
and tried to jump into the tattoo world in San Francisco, Ca. Things weren't
all that easy being 3000 miles from home and 30 years old trying to get into the
tattoo business. It took nearly 5 years before I got my first position in a
shop named "Above all Tattooing" In Sacramento, Ca. After a year's stay there I
went and spent some time with Ace of "Aces Ink" also in Sacramento, Ca. Ace
is a long time friend of Erno of "Erno's Tattoo" A couple years later I opened
my own shop also in Sacramento, Ca. called "Some Place Else". Well, here it is 10
years later and now [I'm] in Olympia, Wa., @ 504 Franklin St, Tat2times Studio.
