From Enrique: "Arte Sagrado is the name of the shop I [have] run for 5 years now. I opened the shop in Lima, Peru (my country) because I started to love the art and decided to start tattooing - and my customers started to be more, so I had the need to have a place where to tattoo them. I am self-taught in every way...I think tattooing is a hard way when you don't have an apprenticeship. Here in my country there is not a tattoo tradition and all the shops are relatively new. Little by little my shop gained some recognition by the tattoo community, and now we have lot of work due the effort and dedication I put in every piece I do...the style I love more...is black and grey, but I also do color stuff. I went to Holland last year (2001) to tattoo in a shop in the south of the country called Laura's Tattoo. This year (2002), I went to Canada for 2 months to work at Bear Skin Art and plan to return...I plan to keep tattooing because it is what I love and what I live for. I think I have to learn a lot yet always - I learn something even when I do a tiny piece."
