Ancient chinese dragon tattoo myth:
The chinese symbols stand for rhythm, 1) because I'm in a growing California
area band (Last Falling), and also because of the current place I am in my
life.
With history and myth intertwined, it has been well known in the tattoo
industry when completing a traditional chinese dragon art piece, to tattoo
the eyes of the dragon last. the eyes hold a special significance and
breathe life into the dragon; setting it to protect its rightful
collector/master, guarding what beliefs and passions that are held true in
the collector/master's heart and soul. if the dragon's eyes are fixed when
the piece is incomplete, the dragon will revolt and kill it's
collector/master because it is therefore 'alive' and does not fully possess
the various traits nessecary to protect it's collector/master.
