Definition: A shader is a group of needles used for filling in and shading a tattoo.

Also Known As: magnum, mag

Examples: Shaders are generally two rows of needle sharps spaced intermitantly in a flat shape. A shader, or magnum, can be a group of needles as many as 9 or more. These are used for filling in color, blending and shading a tattoo after the outline has been done.
