Ultrasonic

Definition:
An ultrasonic is a special machine used for the cleaning of medical or tattoo instruments before autoclaving. The instruments are placed in the ultrasonic with a special solution and ultrasonic waves (high speed sound vibrations) penetrate crevices and shake blood, ink and other particles out.
Ultrasonic cleaning alone does not sufficiently clean instruments of harmful contaminants. This is only a preliminary step used to remove actual particles before autoclave sterilizing.
