Stop trying to be like them
I'm not you
My life in greywash
Sunday silence
and all those scars
upon my heart
carved with indelible ink
...Just sit back and enjoy the ride...
I'm not you
See me enter this netherworld
of greensoap and flash
Boldly, I reclaim
What is mine
What you have plundered
with your words and hurts
The sacred ritual replays again
Cave dwellers before me
Cave dwellers beside me
The Mickey Bee a siren song
...Just sit back and enjoy the ride...
I'm not you
Those things pillaged
shall be returned
with each line, with each wipe
The shaman artist
illustrates warrior poet
The winged equine in flight
This is my soul soaring
The exultant wings
This is my soul reaching
Asserting
"I'm not you"...

Tears for Pain

Tears fill the rims of eyes.
The stinging sensation.
Makeup smears down cheeks of wetness.
Who knew you'd be crying for pain.
You like it.
You crave it.
You need it.
You're addicted.
Need help?

Body Piercings

Bad guys, good guys, anyone at all,
Often have a piercing, a hoop or a ball.
Desperately trying to stand out of all the rest,
You get the mighty nip, just to look your best

People have a piercing every day of every year,
If it be their eyebrow, tongue or even ear.
Everybody must agree that it's a form of body art,
Really finding it hard to stop once they start.

Connecting metal to their access skin,
Interested in what their bodies say within.
Never stop feeding us, this artful piece of mind,
Go to your local studio to see what bars you find.
