Body Expression

Expressions of how I feel,
about myself and about my life.
Many colors, many designs,
With many different meanings.

On my arm, shoulder or chest,
Anywhere I would like.
Big or small,
that's for me to choose,
It is my body and for my use.

Fields of Indigo

In fields of indigo, on a canvas gently tended
My dragons roam an ivory plain,
Their beauty well intended;
And they are worth each ounce of pain.

Wreathed in clouds and mist and scrolls,
There lie my dragons, precious as gold
And no man nor beast can take them away;
In fields of indigo, my dragons stay.

My dragons watch the world pass by
from their perches on my back,
and my heart is stronger as they fly,
when the night drops down, so cold, so black.

But I do not fear the velvet night;
To my dragons fair the dark must yield,
and when my soul suffers pain or blight,
I am soothed by the indigo fields.

The Cross I Wear

The cross I wear is small but says many things
I am young but not stupid and care for many things
This piece of art that I carry on my body makes me
Feel like the a canvas of an artiest.
The Cross I wear has a special meaning
I believe in God and I don't think its sinning.
The Cross I ware means a lot to me
I got it when I turned 18
I have yet to regret its there
The Cross I ware will be with me forever
I just imagine when I get older my
Kids will be asking what did I do when I
Was younger I will say I got a tattoo that
Means a lot to me its beautiful, its art and
It's what I believe.
