Piece of metal
By Mira Monroe
with that piece of metal
penetrate it though my skin
I'll try not to cry
but the pain might win
as you push it in
you say your almost done
every second is a hour
and the pain has won
a river fall from my eyes
I can barely see
but I try
you've finished now
I'm faint in the head
you ask how I am?
I feel I've been punctured with lead
now I have a new hole
was it worth all the pain?
the suffering, the eternity of time
yeah it was, I'd do it again
My Choice
By Shannon Bulmer
It's my choice what pictures and words I like.
It's my choice what I want people to see on me that describes my life.
I've always wanted to show how I feel and if it's on me it's real.
It would be nice for people to not just see words or pictures on me and judge me like that.
I would like people to see also what I'm really like and not just as phat.
Whatever I choose to put on me is my choice.
Ink Colored Flesh
By Kevin Miller
The needle digs into my arm this time,
as I look at past creations from my mind.
Most are good, some are bad,
there's a name I wish I didn't have.
Each one carries a memory from a different time,
and even if I would have never got any, they would all still be mine.
Changes
By Bill W.
Years in the making, my little design.
Wanted to do it, but the wife would whine.
Finally decided it was now or never,
Went with something simple, not very clever.
One heart was the original plan,
For the woman who had given her hand.
Time has passed and things have changed,
Now my priorities are all rearranged.
Now instead of a heart, there is a pair,
For enduring life with me, that seemed fair.
One for the lady whose passion has waned,
The second for a lady, yet to be named!
