X
By Clare Sargent
I come to the studio to pick out a tat,
I search all the flash to find a design,
I'm looking through books of this and that,
But I want something just for me, all mine.
I get you to draw up one thats unique,
And a few days later I'm sat in the chair,
The pains better than any pleasure I could seek,
And the tats better than any clothes I could wear.
You Say
By Karen
I am a creature of change
I am at one with life
You say I am strange
You say life's strife.
I put art on my body
I put visual to my mind
You say I'm naughty
You say I'm blind.
I think you're unsympathetic
I think your mind's shut
You say I'll regret it
You say the art's smut.
I live to my heart
I live in dedication
You say sin is the art
You say it's mutilation.
I know who I am
I know what's right
You say life's a scam
You say we must fight.
I don't want fear
I don't want hate
You speak with sneer
Your mind's been raped.
Ink and holes
By Shelly Carlos
Piercings and ink are a form of expression.
Some do it for art some for aggression.
The feeling of the needle pressure on my skin,
to describe how it feels I cant even begin.
The piercings you get when your guy makes you mad
never regret, they look good so be glad!
Whether you do it for fun or just for the art.
It shows who you are and that's different by far.
Be original with you body and do what you like
get that ink the loop or even a spike.
What ever you get do it for you
not because someone else wanted you to.
ART
By Chelsea Growden
My body's a canvas,
I'm an artist alone.
My arms and legs show it.
How I feel,
How I heal.
Cut my feelings where it will fit.
My body's a rock,
I'm the sculptor alone.
Its and escape from all.
The life I live,
The things I give.
My feelings are hidden so small.
