Third Time's a Charm!
"I finally got my first tattoo. It's on the outside of my ankle - a rose with barbwire going up the stem. Anyway, the first time I used neosporin, which made me break out and when it finally healed, alot of the color came out. The guy re-did it for free, and it looked alot better. The colors looked deeper, so I thought I had it made. Then, by the second day the black outline spread out - it almost looked like it had been shaded. This time the same guy wasn't nice at all, even though I was more than willing to pay. I didn't want him to re-do it again anyway, and a few days later this other guy that works in the same place called and offered to redo it for free. So, after it healed I went back and he tried some better ink, and I used A&D ointment on it. My tattoo looks great now, but what had everybody over at this tattoo place so puzzled is that I am the first person they've ever seen that had the outline spread out, which made me feel like a leper or something. Well, I'm glad I didn't give up over a couple of bad experiences."
