The Bottom Line -
Maybe I got a kit that had been sitting on the store shelf too long, but I wasn't very impressed with this product. The tattoos were very pretty and my daughters loved the sparkly designs, but they refused to stay adhered to the skin and came off as quickly as we got them on. The glitter was glued to the insides of the containers and was completely unusable. The "ink" was like thick mascara and the "ink brushes" were similar to liquid eyeliner brushes - pretty much useless and ineffective. The carrying case was a nice touch, but I think it's worth more than the stuff it holds. Most kids would have fun with it anyway, but there is a lot better out there in the same price range.

Well, The Case is Nice
My daughters, who helped me try out this kit, were bitterly disappointed with the results. When we tried the temporary tattoos, they felt thick and rubbery and didn't look very natural. They tried to break and tear when we applied them, and once they were dried they pulled away from the skin and fell off. The glitter was glued to the inside of the containers in a big glob and was unusable. The "ink" was more of a paste and difficult to paint with. The body gems, mini decals and sticker stencils were all fine although nothing to write home about. The flower shaped case, however, is quite nice and very convenient.
Considering the plethora of temporary body art kits available these days, I have to say this one is better off staying on the shelf.
