I typically do not submit my opinion on-line, but wanted to contribute to this one as a thank you for helping me make my decision to get a VHC. I had researched and thought about it for over a year, so I felt educated on which type of piercing was right for me.

I also want to give credit where credit is due to the piercer that did mine. Kieran at Texas Body Art 281-894-2282 on Jones Road in NW Houston Metro area did mine. Kieran was so professional and has a gentle sense of personality. The pain was so brief but extreme that I was shocked at how quickly it was over. After the second of pain, I haven't experienced any discomfort at all. I was back to all activities within 12 hours.

Kieran explained everything and has a great sense of humor to put your nervousness out the window. I love it and I'm a professional late 40s woman. Noone will ever suspect that I have a VHC!!! I'm still not sure what my boyfriend thinks about it, but I didn't do it for him!!!

If you are thinking of getting a VHC my suggestion is to research it, think it through, find the right studio, make sure you are comfortable with the piercer, and go for it! It has only been a week, and I can't express how great it has been. Too bad I didn't have it done 20+ years ago!
