Level of Experience:
"Started part-time last fall, am now full-time. Have never
pierced or tattooed anyone, although I do love to color and draw."
Likes
"Odd tasting candy, scary/weird/cheesy movies, reading,
collecting 80's toys and nostalgia, beer, dark and unusual
artwork, finding pleasure in the minor details of life, board games."
Dislikes
Waking up, being cold, balloons, insects,
loud sharp noises, the way people tend to assume the worst about each
other, ignorant and unfounded hatred, scary loud people that want to
'save' you."
Favorite Quote
"'...it's hard to stay mad when there's so much beauty in the
world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once...and
it's too much. My heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst...' -- from the movie American Beauty."
Inspirations:
"Edward Gorey, Stephen King, Jhonen Vasquez and Mark Ryden."
Being Part of the Chrome Gardens Family:
"I'm very happy to be a part of the Chrome Gardens team.
Everyone works so well together and things run so smoothly; it's great to be around people you like every day. Plus I love the creative atmosphere, it's so different from any other jobI've had. My favorite part is getting to see the variety of ideas people come up with for body modification, whether it's a neat custom tattoo or an unusual piercing. My least favorite part is a) people who have no appreciation for talent and are only worried about finding the cheapest tattoo possible, and b) parents who get upset because we won't do any work (mostly piercings) on minors under 16, and refuse to listen to our reasons why."
