I recently joined a tattoo newslist, and some of the topics being discussed right now are so great, I just don't have time to devote a separate article to each of them. Creepy, but True!
Someone has actually got a patent requiring customers of his establishment to be tattooed with a "bar code" before they can make purchases. Reactions to this news range from shock to utter amusement. It's scary, though, to think something like this might actually get approval some day.
Latex Allergy!
Have you picked up the latest copy of Skin & Ink? Apparently, an article written by Pat Fish has caused quite a stir! Customers and tattooists are having allergic reactions to the latex gloves being used. Could you be at risk? Join in the discussion and find out what others are saying!
Moral Debate!
To tattoo or not to tattoo...that is the question. If a customer asks a tattooists to ink a morally compromising tattoo, what should he/she do? Is it the tattoo artist's obligation to do whatever the customer wants, or do they have the right to refuse service on the basis of consciencious objection? Let them know what you think!
