When/How You Became a Tattoo Artist:
I got my first tattoo when I was 16 and realized then that my artistic drive found the perfect outlet... I wanted to be a tattooer. Back then there were only a handful of female tattooers trying to fit in the all male club. After dealing with a lot of disappointments and unscrupulous assholes, I finally got a break here at the Tattoo Factory in 2000 and started tattooing professionally in 2001.

Favorite Style/Genre of Tattooing:
My style is as eclectic and diverse as my clients. I am influenced by a lot of things, but mainly it's the people I surround myself with that I draw the most from.

I also love the art of painting on velvet. I hope to make my mark in the amazing and fun history of velvet paintings. They've gone from being the finest of Victorian art, to the exotic and erotic Tiki paintings of Leeteg, to the kitschy mass produced art of Tijuana. My work combines the traditions of all three! More About You:
I am currently promoting and hosting art events at the Tattoo Factory Gallery, which is right next door to the shop. We feature local tattooers/artists and provide a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy art. We also have local musicians who perform at the openings. I think art should be fun, involving and intriguing without being pretentious. All in all, I love what I do and sharing it anyone who'll take a look!
