This image gallery contains photos of tattoos that have been submitted by contributors from around the world who were so affected by the events of September 11, 2001, that they got tattooed in remembrance. It's dedicated to all victims - those alive and those deceased - that were affected by the terrorist attacks that day. These memorials include tributes to the World Trade Center (Twin Towers), the Pentagon, and heroes of the attacks including police officers, firefighters, doctors, nurses and all civilians who lent a helping hand or gave their live to spare others.
