Is it okay to get a tattoo on your stretch marks?

By Karen L. Hudson, About.com

Question: Is it okay to get a tattoo on your stretch marks?

Answer: It really depends on how deep and how dark your stretch marks are. If they're basically superficial - just light lines - then it's very possible that you can get them tattooed over with success. However, deep or dark lines are more difficult to try to cover with a tattoo. I would suggest visiting your tattoo artist and let them evaluate your situation. They can see your stretch lines and help you come up with a plan to either tattoo over them or around them, but I'm sure they can help you come up with something that can make you feel more beautiful and confident.
