What impressed me most about these guys was their true dedication to art. Since we had to approach the shop from the back alley and it was already dark outside, I was a little intimidated to approach the back door - until we heard classical music blaring outdoors and saw 5 easels set up with 5 artists happily drawing and painting in the back lot. <p> The crew has such a passion for art that they have these jam sessions on a regular basis. If they're not tattooing, they're spending their time on some other artistic venture. But there's no ownership squabbles over who did what - many of the drawings and paintings have actually been collaborative, much like Paul Booth's Art Fusion Experiment. Erik says if someone leaves an unfinished drawing laying around too long, someone is going to pick it up and finish it! No one worries about who gets to sign a piece or who gets credit for it. It's all shared and they all learn from each other.
