"...but my husband forbid it. So, after my divorce..." ROFL! I love that! Good for you, girl! -Karen
My name is Jessica and I got my very first tattoo the other day on the upper part of my breast. I do not think that I can get another one even though I got this one. My husband has a homemade gun and does alright work for what he has to work with. I am still real afraid. I know that is half the battle but it is a hell of a battle for me. I would like to get him a real kit and some how hook him up with the right people to get him set up good. He would like to start his own business. He is a great artist. I am not just blowing smoke cause he is my old man. I will be the first one to call him on his mess ups. Anyways my tattoo was colored and he is not real good with the whole shading thing yet but somehow the color came out and it is scabbed up pretty good. I would like more ink put on me but that damn fear is in the way. Please help. I love your letters I get through my email [they] really kick ass.
Oh, good Lord. Where do I even start? Be afraid, Jessica....be very afraid. -Karen

I love women with tattoos…. I served 20 years in the Navy and didn’t get tattoos until I was 44. I have 5 now..I also design them for people who want them done.
Wow, you waited a lot, Anthony… and the “another woman with tats” I must say that It happened to me, my ex boyfriend kept forbiding me tats and piercings for years and now I’m free I’m doing it. I think It’s the best therapy for a breaking up, I guess… hehe.
I now have 3 tats and got them all after the age of 40. This way by the time I die, you will still be able to tell what they are!!!! Girls are NEVER TOO OLD to get tats :+)
My first tatt experience 16 yrs ago at age 40 changed me from the INSIDE out….now I own roughly 60 designs and every one was considered and handled with care…some of mine are “above the collar” and “below the cuff” so there is no mistaking my lifestyle. Rather than stand in my way I have held professional jobs and found early on that if you have the right attitude about your art others will too. The most important thing is to be true to yourself and collect body art that tells your story no one else’s……
