In the News: Those Quick to Judge End Up Red in the Face

City Rallies to Stop Tattoo Business

A crowd of objectors came together with picket signs and verbal outcries against a "body art license" applicant, in fear of how a tattoo studio might affect their precious town and impressionable children. They were armed with petitions and warnings of the dangerous effects of tattoo studios on God-fearing, law-abiding communities, only to discover that what they were fighting against was a beautician looking to do permanent cosmetics. The din of protests quickly dissipated after that fact was revealed, but some still wanted to be assured that the beautician would never bring "mainstream tattooing" to their happy little town. Apparently, tattooed makeup is okay but flowers and butterflies aren't.
