I have been tattoos for over 30 years and these bumps, I will guess only here because I have not seen yours, are sometimes from ingrown hair (rarely) if theres alot of these bumps, and usually caused from the ink itself, these bumps usually go away in time, how long? who knows, a matter of days I believe. If you have any questions then youo really should ask your tattoo artist, we usually will tell you anything you are concerned about, maybe maybe not, it depends on yours. This is one more example of how a tattoo artist gets a bad name, especially when something minor like this happens and bad gossip starts, it helps make a seasoned tattoo artist have a attitude towards the unskilled.
Agreed with Roman. If the bumps don’t grow or look infected they will go away. Just give them time. Maybe you have an allergy or ingrown hairs or the like. Probably you will be okay, but if anything doesn’t look right have it checked out.
