Flaming Dragon - Tacoma, Washington

I have been to many tattoo shops here in Tacoma and across the country and find myself going back to Flaming Dragon Tattoo... It's not that I like one specfic tattoo artist at this shop as I have been tattooed and pierced by just about everyone working there. The guys there are SUPER friendly do AMAZING work, and Jason (okay he is by far my favorite) is always amped to hear my idea's for a new tattoo.

I got my first tattoo when I was 18 done by Bryan at Flaming Dragon and was quite pleased... I continued to see him and Scott (also owner) for my next several tattoos. As they got busier it was harder for me to get an appointment and get work done by them... after gettting several tattoos done elsewhere I slowed down a bit on the tattoo process. Then 2 years ago after my grandfather passed away I had to get a tattoo in rememberance of him and I wanted it done immediatly.

After going to several shops and being told that they would have to greatly enlarge the tattoo of choice I was discouraged and ready to give up. I was on my way home and drove by Flaming Dragon, feeling that I might be able to tolerate one more rejection. I popped in and "pitched" my idea. At first Jason thought that it would [be] best to pitch my idea to the garbage can... but after talking to him he decided that he was not only up for the challenge but that he would come in the next day, his day off and the one day a week that the shop was closed to ink me. 3 hours later he was done, and it had turned out AMAZING... it was by far my most favorite tattoo up until that point.

After that I decided that getting another tattoo might be a bit too emotional for me since the last one had such a signficant meaning to me. A year later I was back in form and ready to get inked again, this time I knew exactly where I was going to go... walking in I was immediatly reconized and greeted like friend that hadn't been seen in years and again the tattoo experience was Spectactluar!

Hundreds of dollars later I find myself still going back to the same shop and be greeted like a friend not just another customer. Even better is the response that i get to my tattoos people are ALWAYS commented on what an amazing job the guys have done on my tattoos.
